Monitors

What is it?

  • Monitors are used to keep track of the workflow and notify about it when needed. Monitors are customizable manually. You can add as many of them as you need.

Unique insights and benefits

  • Monitors can be set to track number, date, start date, and due date.

  • You can keep track of the workflow by choosing to be notified when you reach a specific or even approximate threshold (eg. date, percent, equals, greater than…).

  • Add the monitor, set the threshold, and get notified when you reach it. You can customize notifications, to get another pre-alert notification at any specific moment.

  • Every attached task will have a required field to enter the value of the monitor.

  • You can be notified via Slack, Text Message(SMS), Phone Call, or Email. You can have more than one notification method.

  • Monitors will keep tracking the process in the holistic board. You can visually see the monitor marker.

Examples

  • Your company has to make 1000 donuts in a week, and you want to track the progress. You create a monitor requiring bakers to input how many donuts they make per task. You set the monitor to notify you at 80% and 100% of the goal. Now all you have to do is wait for the results.

How to use

  • Monitors are in every board view. You make one, name it, choose its type and goal, and decide how and when you want to be notified. Once added, you just focus on your tasks.
