Slack Integration

Slack integration allows you to create and assign tasks in the TaskSensor boards right from Slack channels.

With Slack integration, you can create tasks from the channels making the process fast and easy.

Tasks assigned via Slack can go directly to the Initiative board that you chose.

Task default values are auto-filled when creating a task from the Slack integration.

Multiple Slack channels can send information to a single board.

You are having a grooming call with your team. Instead of dumping your notes into the channel, to create tasks later you can directly log them to the TaskSensor. Afterward, you can edit everything from our system if needed.

Install the Slack integration from the “App Integrations” panel.

From “Board integrations” link the Slack integration to your board to navigate all your channel messages directly to your board. Now the team can use it.

In order to connect to private channels you should invite the Task Sensor bot to the channel.

Create tasks using the slash command /ts-task.

• The TaskSensor bot will give you the required information to be filled in while creating the task.
