Objective View
What Is It?
In TaskSensor, the Objectives page is designed to display organization-wide goals, connecting high-level ambitions to actionable steps across projects.
How It Works
In the Objectives page, all your organization-wide goals(objectives) are listed with their accompanying information for easy reference.
You can create new Objectives right from this page. Creating an objective involves naming it and optionally setting start and end dates.
Clicking on any objective opens its detailed Objective View, allowing you to explore its specifics.
From the Objective view easily create initiatives as ideas emerge, with the option to make them actionable boards right away or link them to an existing board in your chosen project.
Boards can be linked or unlinked to an objective at any time. When linking an existing board to an initiative from the Objective View, the initiative automatically adopts the linked board’s name.
The Objective View allows you to see all your initiatives, whether they’re empty or linked to active boards with full details and progress. In this view, initiatives are organized by project, while unlinked initiatives are displayed separately.
Deleting an initiative will also permanently remove the linked board.
Holistic Boards can be unlinked, they cannot be deleted.
Each initiative includes its own notes as well as the notes from any board linked to it.
In the Objective View’s details section, you’ll find a pie chart reflecting overall progress, as well as a Cost Forecast derived from TaskSensor’s Financial Forecast feature.
